Why Soy Wax?

Soy wax has numerous health and environmental benefits. It is also produced domestically from many Midwest farms. Some of the benefits include:

  • It is a natural wax option, unlike paraffin wax that may contain toxins
  • Contains no petrol-soot that will blacken walls or ceilings
  • Has a longer lasting burn
  • Derived from a renewable resource (soy beans)
  • Biodegradable and easy to clean-up with soap and water
  • Drives business for local farmers

 

When will my order ship?

We will ship your order within 3-5 business days. You'll receive tracking information as soon as your package is sent.

 

Are your candles made in the US?

Yes. All of our materials are sourced from the US, and we make our candles by hand in Illinois.

 

Can I send candles as a gift?

Yes! We would be honored to send a gift on your behalf. Every candle package arrives gift wrapped (yay!). All you have to do is change the shipping destination to the gift recipient’s address. We would also be happy to include a special note at no additional charge! Write your gift note in the "additional notes" on the shopping cart page (before checkout).

 

How long should I burn my candle?

When you receive your new Cozy by Candle, let it burn long enough to allow the melted wax on the surface to reach the edge of the jar. This may take 2-4 hours depending on the size of your candle. After your first burn, we recommend burning your candle for no longer than 4 hours at a time for maximum quality and longevity.

 

How do I clean my jar?

Natural ingredients make our candles super easy to clean up! Warm water and soap is all you need! Fill bowl with hot water, let jar sit in hot war and soap mix. Once wax softens up scoop it out with a spoon! Toss the wax away and wash your jar with soap and warm water… Waaallaa new jar to be re purposed! 

 

What happens if my tracking number stops updating and my package is never delivered?

Once your order has been passed off to USPS or FedEx, we unfortunately do not have control of the package's transit. Should your order get lost during transit, please contact the carrier shipping it and file a claim for YOU to be reimbursed the insured value.

 

Can I return one of the candles I had ordered?

We do not currently accept returns. While we know that you can't exactly smell the candles before ordering online, we do our best to describe our scents as accurately as possible. Please consider gifting to a friend instead!
 

Do you offer special prices for large orders?

Yes, please contact us for more information on discounts for large orders. We can provide candles for parties, weddings, special events, or as gifts to clients.

 

Can I cancel my order?

Our orders are processed in our distribution warehouse on a routine basis throughout each day. We can only cancel orders if they haven't been fulfilled yet. Once our warehouse has fulfilled your order (even if you've yet to receive a shipping confirmation), we are unable to cancel.
